Qui t’ha donat el millor consell i quin ha estat?

El millor consell sempre és del meu pare! El que no et mata et fa més fort; hi ha moments en la vida que caus però quan t’aixeques un altre cop us puc assegurar que estàs molt més fort.

Qui o què t’inspira?

La música. Sóc un gran fan de la música i m’inspiro per qualsevol música que em commou, i que puc fer servir i barrejar a l’estudi. És un sentiment fantàstic!

Carreres, Música i Dones. I en aquest ordre :)

Com vas convertir-te en pilot de F1? Era quelcom que sempre volies fer o simplement hi vas entrar per casualitat?

Mai vaig saber que podria competir en la primera classe fins que vaig tenir 19 anys, mai va ser una obsessió, era un objectiu però mai ho vaig arribar a esperar-m’ho, crec que en la vida quan deixes fluir les coses amb treball dur i dedicació al final t’hi trobes.

Sabem que t’ho vas passar molt bé a la festa de Pepe Jeans. Has anat a cap altra bona festa últimament=

No! La festa de Pepe Jeans va ser la última, i ens ho vam passar molt bé! Molt de rock’n’roll i un ambient genial ;)

Who has given you the best advice and what was?

The best advice always comes from my father! What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger; there are moments in life where you get knocked down but when you get up again I can assure you that you’re much stronger.

Who or what inspires you?

Music. I’m a big music fan and I’m inspired by any music that moves me, and that I can use and mix in the studio. That’s a fantastic feeling!

Name 3 things you couldn’t live without.

Racing, Music, Women. And in that order :)

How did you become an F1 driver? Was it something you always wanted to do or did you just get into it by chance? 

I never knew I would compete in the premier class until I was 19, it was never an obsession, it was a goal but never really pushed, I believe that in life when you let things flow with hard work and dedication you get there in the end.

We know you’d a great time at the Pepe Jeans party. Have you gone to any other good parties lately?

No! The Pepe Jeans party was the last one, and we’d a fantastic time! A lot of rock ‘n’ roll and a great atmosphere ;)

El campionat de fórmula 1 d'enguany esta arribant a la seva conclusió, i amb això Jaume Alguersuari tindrà uns dies plens d'activitat.

En la seva habitual columna a la BBC de cada Gran Premi, el Jaume ens va anunciar el passat dimecres 26,  que no viatjarà a les properes tres proves del campionat. "Estava planejat des de fa un temps. És millor per mi preparar-me per l'any que vé, seguir el meu entrenament, perquè estic segur que tornaré a conduir a la F1." A més a més de poder preparar-se per la pròxima temporada, el pilot català afirma que "També tinc un test important amb Pirelli al Paul Ricard, França, d'aquí dues setmanes, on decidirem quines seran les característiques dels neumàtics de mullat de l'any que vé. Apart d'això també em dedicaré a entrenar-me." 

A aquest fet, s'hi ha afegit les dues importants notícies de la incorporació de Lewis Hamilton en substitució del Kaiser a Mercedes i de la incorporació de Sergio Perez a Mclaren, fet que obra el mercat i farà que comencin els moviments pel 2013, cosa que com va dir el Jaume, l'afavoreix.

The 2012's Formula 1 Championship is reaching to the end, and Jaime Alguersuari will have some days of full activity.

Jaime, training this week at the Circuit de Catalunya

In his usual column at the BBC for each Grand Prix, Jaime announced us the last Wednesday 26th, that he wouldn't travel to the next three races of the championship. "It had been planned for some time. It's better for me to prepare for next year, to keep my training up, as I'm sure I will be back driving in F1." Apart from preparing for next season, the Catalan driver says that "I also have an important test with Pirelli in Paul Ricard, France, in two weeks' time, where we are going to be deciding on the specification of next year's wet tyres. Apart from that I will dedicate myself to training."

At this fact, we have to add the news of Lewis Hamilton joining to Mercedes AMG, replacing the Kaiser and the replacement of Hamilton, which leaves Sergio Perez's seat at Sauber free. This way, the movements in the market are starting and this, as Jaime already said, helps him.

Coincidint amb el recent pas de la setmana passada del Campionat del Món de Fórmula 1 per la catedral del motor, el mític i llegendari circuit de Spa Francorchamps, i també molt a prop d'uns altres dies de test amb Pirelli al Circuit de Catalunya, on també participarà el jove pilot Jaume Alguersuari, aprofitem per penjar un vídeo produit per la BBC. 

La tasca de Jaume Alguersuari i Lucas Di Grassi com a provadors de les gomes de la marca italiana per a la temporada 2013, és una d'aquelles feines que són tan discretes com importants. Per això, en aquest vídeo  podem veure tot el que passa en un dia de test explicat, ni més ni menys, pel pilot català de 22 anys, Jaume Alguersuari.

Jaime Alguersuari and Lucas Di Grassi's work developing the 2013's compounds as test drivers for the italian brand, is one of those works that are as discrete as important. So in this video we can see everything that happens in a test day explained, neither more nor less, by the Catalan driver aged 22, Jaime Alguersuari.

Les jornades de tests que disputarà Jaume Alguersuari a Barcelona i una possible substitució del sancionat Romain Grosjean en el GP d'Itàlia marcaran el principal focus d'atenció per al pilot Català.

Continuant amb la tasca de desenvolupament de les gomes per al Campionat de F1 del 2013, Pirelli fa parada la setmana que vé al Circuit de Catalunya on el dimarts començaran uns altres dies de test on, com a pilot provador, Jaume Alguersuari continuarà ajudant a la marca italiana a desenvolupar els pneumàtics del 2013. Aquest fet, el servirà per continuar acumulant quilòmetres i experiència al volant d'un Formula 1 i també coneixent encara millor els compostos de la pròxima temporada.

A més a més, la sanció que prohibeix a Romain Grosjean prendre part del GP d'Itàlia, disputat a Monza, és una oportunitat de prendre part de nou en un Gran Premi per a Jaume Alguersuari, que intentarà poder pujar al Lotus el proper cap de setmana. Pel que fa a les opcions per a la temporada vinent, sembla que Force India es presenta com l'opció per la que ara per ara s'apostarien més diners, però, com ja va afirmar el Jaume, els moviments de pilots el poden beneficiar per aconseguir un seient millor.

The testing days at Bacelona where Jaime Alguersuari will be taking part and a possible replacement of the suspended  Romain Grosjean at the Italian Grand Prix will be the main focus for the Catalan driver.

Continuing with th developmet of te tyres for the 2013's F1 Championship, Prelli stops next week at the "Circuit de Catalunya" where on Tuesday some test days will take place where, as a test driver, Jaime Alguersuari will keep helping the Italian brand to develop the compounds for 2013. This way, Jaime will also make many kilometers and will gain a lot of experience on a Formula 1 car and dealing with the tyres of the next season.

Furthermore, Romain Grosjean's prohibition of taking part at the Italian GP, held at Monza, is a great chance  for Jaime Alguersuari to take part in a Grand Prix, who will try to race with the Lotus next weekend. Regarding Jaime's options for next year, it seems that by the time, the option where people would bet for would be Force India, but as Jaime already stated, the more moovements between teams, the better seat he can find.

Jaume Alguersuari segueix confiant en que estarà en la graella de Melbourne al 2013.

La Fórmula 1 ha parat motors durant algunes setmanes i no tornara fins el setembre. Però abans de les vacances d'estiu, ja hi ha agut alguns rumors dels possibles moviments de pilots per al 2013.

Jaume Alguersuari, que ja havia afirmat que estarà al gran circ de la F1 la pròxima temporada, ha tornat a fer declaracions. El pilot català va dir que "li aniria bé que es mogués el mercat" i "si no es mogués tant, estaria igual però la meva opció no seria tan bona, seria una mica pitjor".

"Necessito un cotxe per estar en els punts consistentment i un projecte de futur", explicava el jove pilot.

Així doncs, cada vegada sembla més segur - si és que no ho era ja - que podrem veure Jaume Alguersuari pilotant un F1 en un Gran Premi la pròxima temporada.

"A mi m'agrada qualsevol equip que em permeti estar en els punts, l'important és un bon projecte, no haig de buscar diners per trobar un projecte i que arribi un altre amb més diners i es quedi el lloc."

"On vaig amb un cotxe que no pugui estar en els punts?, absurd."

Jaime Alguersuari still confident about being at Melgourne's gird on 2013.

Formula One engines have stopped for few weeks and won't return until September. But before the summer hollidays, there have been some rumours about the possible changes of drivers for 2013.
Jaime Alguersuari, that had already said he will be at the circus of the F1 next season, has made some more statements. The Catalan driver said that "market movements would be good for me" and "if there were less movements, it just would be the same but my option wouldn't be such as bood, it would be a little worse".
"I need a car to be at the points regularly and a project of future", explained the young driver.
So every time seems to be more sure - whether it wasn't already - that we will see Jaime Alguersuari driving a F1 in a Grand Prix next season.
"I like any team that allows me to be at the points, the important is a good project, I don't have to look for money to find a project and then it arrives somebody else with more money and gets the place."
"Where do I go with a car that can't be at the points?, nonesense."
