Un com acabada una temporada tan emocionant com aquesta, i un cop decidit el Campionat d'enguany a favor de Sebastian Vettel, i de diversos canvis de pilots entre escuderies, el futur de Jaume Alguersuari està cada vegada més a prop de ser conegut. Tot i que està per veure si el veurem en la sortida de Melbourne, les seves ganes i les de la seva gent perquè torni a competir són immenses, i si finalment ho fa a la F1, molt millor.

Després d'una temporada on no l'hem pogut veure competint en les diverses proves del campionat, gairebé un any més després de la inesperada notícia de l'escuderia Toro Rosso que prescindia del pilot barceloní i del suís Sebastien Buemi, i també del profitós any com a pilot de proves de Pirelli, sembla que les opcions del jove pilot a la F1 passen per Force India, que busca un pilot "amb experiència i que garanteixi resultats", segons diu Vijay Mallya. I aquestes característiques podrien encaixar amb el perfil de Jaume Alguersuari. Cal dir però, que pilots com Adrian Sutil, Jules Bianchi, Sebastian Buemi o fins i tot Jerome d'Ambrossio i Bruno Senna, també figuren en la llista de candidats de Force India per ocupar la vacant de Nico Hülkenberg.

Pel que fa a les places que queden per confirmar, a banda de la continuïtat encara incerta  i no confirmada de Romain Grosjean a Lotus com a acompanyant de Kimi Raikkonen, el seient de Force India doncs, és l'opció més valorada entre els altres seients de Caterham i Marussia.

Veurem doncs en les properes setmanes, si finalment la bona carta de presentació del Jaume, que també compta amb l'aval de Paul Hembery (director de competició de Pirelli)després d'un any de treball, li val per obtenir el volant de Force India o un lloc a la F1.

Once finished such an exciting season like these one, and after the Championship which finally was won by Sebastian Vettel and several movements of drivers into other teams, Jaime Alguersuari's future is every time closer to be known. Though it is still uncertain if we will see him in the Melbourne's gird, he and all his people are really looking forward to competing again, and if it finally is at F1, even better.

After a season where we haven't seen him competing in these year's championship, nearly one year since the unexpected decision of Toro Rosso that left out the Catalan driver and the Swiss Sebastien Buemi, and also after a good year as a test driver for Pirelli, it seems that the options of the young driver at F1 will have to be linked with Force India, whol looks for an "experienced driver that guarantees good results", in words of Vijay Mallya. And these characteristics could fit with Jaime Alguersuari's profile. It also must be said that drivers like  Adrian Sutil, Jules Bianchi, Sebastian Buemi or even Jerome d'Ambrossio i Bruno Senna, are  also on the list of Force India's candidates to fill the vacancy of Nico Hülkenberg.

Regarding to the seats left for next season, apart from the not confirmed and uncertain continuity of Romain Grosjean at Lotus next to Kimi Raikkonen, the seat of Force India is now the most valuable option among the ones left at Caterham and Marussia.

We will see in the next coming weeks if Jaime, who is also supported by Paul Hembery (Pirelli's competition director) after one year of working, will be back to F1 at Force India or in another seat at F1.

Qui t’ha donat el millor consell i quin ha estat?

El millor consell sempre és del meu pare! El que no et mata et fa més fort; hi ha moments en la vida que caus però quan t’aixeques un altre cop us puc assegurar que estàs molt més fort.

Qui o què t’inspira?

La música. Sóc un gran fan de la música i m’inspiro per qualsevol música que em commou, i que puc fer servir i barrejar a l’estudi. És un sentiment fantàstic!

Com vas convertir-te en pilot de F1? Era quelcom que sempre volies fer o simplement hi vas entrar per casualitat?

Mai vaig saber que podria competir en la primera classe fins que vaig tenir 19 anys, mai va ser una obsessió, era un objectiu però mai ho vaig arribar a esperar-m’ho, crec que en la vida quan deixes fluir les coses amb treball dur i dedicació al final t’hi trobes.

Sabem que t’ho vas passar molt bé a la festa de Pepe Jeans. Has anat a cap altra bona festa últimament=

No! La festa de Pepe Jeans va ser la última, i ens ho vam passar molt bé! Molt de rock’n’roll i un ambient genial ;)

Who has given you the best advice and what was?

The best advice always comes from my father! What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger; there are moments in life where you get knocked down but when you get up again I can assure you that you’re much stronger.

Who or what inspires you?

Music. I’m a big music fan and I’m inspired by any music that moves me, and that I can use and mix in the studio. That’s a fantastic feeling!

Name 3 things you couldn’t live without.

Racing, Music, Women. And in that order :)

How did you become an F1 driver? Was it something you always wanted to do or did you just get into it by chance? 

I never knew I would compete in the premier class until I was 19, it was never an obsession, it was a goal but never really pushed, I believe that in life when you let things flow with hard work and dedication you get there in the end.

We know you’d a great time at the Pepe Jeans party. Have you gone to any other good parties lately?

No! The Pepe Jeans party was the last one, and we’d a fantastic time! A lot of rock ‘n’ roll and a great atmosphere ;)

El campionat de fórmula 1 d'enguany esta arribant a la seva conclusió, i amb això Jaume Alguersuari tindrà uns dies plens d'activitat.

En la seva habitual columna a la BBC de cada Gran Premi, el Jaume ens va anunciar el passat dimecres 26,  que no viatjarà a les properes tres proves del campionat. "Estava planejat des de fa un temps. És millor per mi preparar-me per l'any que vé, seguir el meu entrenament, perquè estic segur que tornaré a conduir a la F1." A més a més de poder preparar-se per la pròxima temporada, el pilot català afirma que "També tinc un test important amb Pirelli al Paul Ricard, França, d'aquí dues setmanes, on decidirem quines seran les característiques dels neumàtics de mullat de l'any que vé. Apart d'això també em dedicaré a entrenar-me." 

A aquest fet, s'hi ha afegit les dues importants notícies de la incorporació de Lewis Hamilton en substitució del Kaiser a Mercedes i de la incorporació de Sergio Perez a Mclaren, fet que obra el mercat i farà que comencin els moviments pel 2013, cosa que com va dir el Jaume, l'afavoreix.

The 2012's Formula 1 Championship is reaching to the end, and Jaime Alguersuari will have some days of full activity.

In his usual column at the BBC for each Grand Prix, Jaime announced us the last Wednesday 26th, that he wouldn't travel to the next three races of the championship. "It had been planned for some time. It's better for me to prepare for next year, to keep my training up, as I'm sure I will be back driving in F1." Apart from preparing for next season, the Catalan driver says that "I also have an important test with Pirelli in Paul Ricard, France, in two weeks' time, where we are going to be deciding on the specification of next year's wet tyres. Apart from that I will dedicate myself to training."

At this fact, we have to add the news of Lewis Hamilton joining to Mercedes AMG, replacing the Kaiser and the replacement of Hamilton, which leaves Sergio Perez's seat at Sauber free. This way, the movements in the market are starting and this, as Jaime already said, helps him.

La tasca de Jaume Alguersuari i Lucas Di Grassi com a provadors de les gomes de la marca italiana per a la temporada 2013, és una d'aquelles feines que són tan discretes com importants. Jaime Alguersuari and Lucas Di Grassi's work developing the 2013's compounds as test drivers for the italian brand, is one of those works that are as discrete as important. So in this video we can see everything that happens in a test day explained, neither more nor less, by the Catalan driver aged 22, Jaime Alguersuari.

Les jornades de tests que disputarà Jaume Alguersuari a Barcelona i una possible substitució del sancionat Romain Grosjean en el GP d'Itàlia marcaran el principal focus d'atenció per al pilot Català.

Continuant amb la tasca de desenvolupament de les gomes per al Campionat de F1 del 2013, Pirelli fa parada la setmana que vé al Circuit de Catalunya on el dimarts començaran uns altres dies de test on, com a pilot provador, Jaume Alguersuari continuarà ajudant a la marca italiana a desenvolupar els pneumàtics del 2013. Aquest fet, el servirà per continuar acumulant quilòmetres i experiència al volant d'un Formula 1 i també coneixent encara millor els compostos de la pròxima temporada.

A més a més, la sanció que prohibeix a Romain Grosjean prendre part del GP d'Itàlia, disputat a Monza, és una oportunitat de prendre part de nou en un Gran Premi per a Jaume Alguersuari, que intentarà poder pujar al Lotus el proper cap de setmana. Pel que fa a les opcions per a la temporada vinent, sembla que Force India es presenta com l'opció per la que ara per ara s'apostarien més diners, però, com ja va afirmar el Jaume, els moviments de pilots el poden beneficiar per aconseguir un seient millor.

The testing days at Bacelona where Jaime Alguersuari will be taking part and a possible replacement of the suspended  Romain Grosjean at the Italian Grand Prix will be the main focus for the Catalan driver.

Continuing with th developmet of te tyres for the 2013's F1 Championship, Prelli stops next week at the "Circuit de Catalunya" where on Tuesday some test days will take place where, as a test driver, Jaime Alguersuari will keep helping the Italian brand to develop the compounds for 2013. This way, Jaime will also make many kilometers and will gain a lot of experience on a Formula 1 car and dealing with the tyres of the next season.

Furthermore, Romain Grosjean's prohibition of taking part at the Italian GP, held at Monza, is a great chance  for Jaime Alguersuari to take part in a Grand Prix, who will try to race with the Lotus next weekend. Regarding Jaime's options for next year, it seems that by the time, the option where people would bet for would be Force India, but as Jaime already stated, the more moovements between teams, the better seat he can find.

Jaume Alguersuari segueix confiant en que estarà en la graella de Melbourne al 2013.

La Fórmula 1 ha parat motors durant algunes setmanes i no tornara fins el setembre. Però abans de les vacances d'estiu, ja hi ha agut alguns rumors dels possibles moviments de pilots per al 2013.

Jaume Alguersuari, que ja havia afirmat que estarà al gran circ de la F1 la pròxima temporada, ha tornat a fer declaracions. El pilot català va dir que "li aniria bé que es mogués el mercat" i "si no es mogués tant, estaria igual però la meva opció no seria tan bona, seria una mica pitjor".

"Necessito un cotxe per estar en els punts consistentment i un projecte de futur", explicava el jove pilot.

Així doncs, cada vegada sembla més segur - si és que no ho era ja - que podrem veure Jaume Alguersuari pilotant un F1 en un Gran Premi la pròxima temporada.

"A mi m'agrada qualsevol equip que em permeti estar en els punts, l'important és un bon projecte, no haig de buscar diners per trobar un projecte i que arribi un altre amb més diners i es quedi el lloc."

"On vaig amb un cotxe que no pugui estar en els punts?, absurd."

Jaime Alguersuari still confident about being at Melgourne's gird on 2013.

Formula One engines have stopped for few weeks and won't return until September. But before the summer hollidays, there have been some rumours about the possible changes of drivers for 2013.
Jaime Alguersuari, that had already said he will be at the circus of the F1 next season, has made some more statements. The Catalan driver said that "market movements would be good for me" and "if there were less movements, it just would be the same but my option wouldn't be such as bood, it would be a little worse".
"I need a car to be at the points regularly and a project of future", explained the young driver.
So every time seems to be more sure - whether it wasn't already - that we will see Jaime Alguersuari driving a F1 in a Grand Prix next season.
"I like any team that allows me to be at the points, the important is a good project, I don't have to look for money to find a project and then it arrives somebody else with more money and gets the place."
"Where do I go with a car that can't be at the points?, nonesense."

Darrerament, Jaume Alguersuari ha fet diverses declaracions sobre la seva tornada a la Fórmula 1. Com ja ha dit diverses vegades, el pilot barceloní, assegura que "estaré a la F1 al cent per cent". També, en declaracions al diari Marca, diu que "Hi ha moltes possibilitats i ofertes, estic segur que el pròxim any, es produeixin o no molts moviments, estaré a la Fórmula 1 de nou". 

Després d'aquestes declaracions, ja circulen rumors en el paddock sobre les escuderies a les que podria entrar Jaume Alguersuari. De moment, el Jaume ja ha reconegut que ha mantingut converses amb tres escuderies:  Williams, Sauber i Force India. 

WILLIAMS

Amb els resultats de Pastor Maldonado fins la meitat de temporada, sembla que el pilot veneçolà ja té pràcticament un volant en l'escuderia de Grove per al 2013. Tot i haver aconseguit una victòria per l'escuderia de Frank Williams (escuderia que no guanyava des del 2004), Pastor Maldonado no esta sent molt regular. Juntament amb l'entrada de diners gràcies al patrocini que aporta de PDVSA fa que Maldonado ja tingui pràcticament un lloc a Williams per al 2013. 

Tot i que Bruno Senna també aporta diners a l'escuderia, la seva continuïtat està sent força qüestionada i la possible entrada de Valteri Bottas sembla la millor substitució de Senna a Williams per al 2013.

SAUBER

Sergio Pérez, pilot que a principis de temporada estava en una bona posició per substituir un qüestionat Felipe Massa cada vegada està més lluny de formar part de l'escuderia de Maranello i sembla que podria continuar en l'escuderia de Peter Sauber una temporada més.

Kamui Kobayashi en canvi, sembla que després d'uns resultats més discrets que Checo no pujarà al Sauber del 2013 i que el seu lloc serà ocupat per Jules Bianchi així que sembla que el seient que podria deixar el Japonès no seria ocupat pel pilot català JaumeAlguersuari. 

FORCE INDIA

Pel que sembla, Michael Schumacher no renovarà amb Mercedes. Aquest fet, podria propiciar una possible la marxa de Paul Di Resta a l'escuderia alamana. L'altre pilot de l'escuderia india, Nico Hulkemberg, està aconseguint uns resultats discrets (16 lloc en la classificació de pilots just davant dels pilots de Toro Rosso i els equips més modestos).

Així doncs, sembla que, si no canvien gaires les coses, el Jaume podria estar en l'escuderia dirigida per Vijay Mallya ocupant una dels seients que sembla que quedaran sense pilot.

L’avantatja amb la que compta el Jaume per tornar a la graella del 2013, i alhora una de molt preuada és la de poder comptar amb un bon coneixement dels neumàtics de la pròxima temporada gràcies a la seva tasca de pilot provador de Pirelli que a més li permet realitzar tants quilòmetres com 12 curses, uns quilòmetres molt valuosos per agafar encara més experiència al volant d'un F1 i fent més quilòmetres que un tercer pilot de qualsevol escuderia.

Lately, Jaime Alguersuari has made some statements about his return to Formula 1. As he has already said several times, the driver from Barcelona, said "I'll be in F1 hundred per cent. Also, in other declarations at the newspaper Marca said that "There are lots of possibilities and offers, I'm sure next year wether there are lots of changes or not, I'll be back at Formula 1 again".

After that declarations, there are already some rumours at the paddock about Jaime's possible teams for next year. By the time, Jaime has already recognised that he has held some talks with three teams: Williams, Sauber and Force India.

WILLIAMS

With the results of Pastor Maldonado till the half of the season it seems that the Venezuelan driver has almost a seat for the next season at the team from Grove for the 2013. Despite having achieved a victory for the team of Frank Williams (the team hadn't won since 2004) he isn't being very regular. Along with the entry of the entrance of monen thanks to PVDSA's sponsorship and his results Maldonado has almost a seat at Williams for 2013.

Though that Bruno Senna also helps the team with some sponsors, his continuity is being quite questioned and the possible entry of Valteri Bottas seems to be the best repacement for Senna at Williams for 2013.

SAUBER

Sergio Pérez, a driver from who it was said at the beginning of the season that was in a good position to replace a questioned Felipe Massa is every time further from the team from Maranello and seems to be another season at the team of Peter Sauber.

However Kamuy Kobayashi, after a more discrete results than his team mate Checo doesn't appear to be at Sauber in 2013. His seat could be taken by Jules Bianchi, so the place left by the Japanese doesn't seem to be taken by the Catalan driver Jaime Alguersuari.

FORCE INDIA

As it seems, Michael Schumacher won't sign again with Mercedes. This could lead a possible departure of Paul Di Resta to the German team. The other driver of the Indian team, Nico Hulkemberg isn't getting very good results (16th place at the Driver's Championship Just ahead of Toro Rosso's drivers and the more modest teams). 

So it seems that if things don't change too much Jaime Alguersuari could enter to the team lead by Vijay Mallya taking a seat that appears to have no driver.

The advantage of Jaime for his return to the gird of F1 in 2013 which is as well veery valuated is his experience and knowledge of the 2013's tyres thanks to his task as a test driver of Pirelli. That also provides Jaime with a huge experience with a F1 car, as at the end of the season he will have done as many kilometers as 12 F1 races, something that any of the third driver at a F1 team will have done.

Just després del GP d'Europa disputat a Valencia, Jaume Alguersuari agafa les maletes per anar cap a Bèlgica, on estarà en la segona jornada de tests amb Pirelli. 

Les proves es disputen al circuit de Spa-Francorchamps durant l'última setmana de juny i serviran per continuar desenvlupant els compostos que la marca italiana distribuirà a les categories de F1, GP2 i GP3 per al Campionat del 2013. El cotxe utilitzat, com ja saben, és el Renault R30, un cotxe competitiu que Pirelli utilitza per als tests. 

Després dels tests realitzats a Jerez a finals de març, aquests dies d'entrenaments ja són els segons on el Jaume i Lucas Di Grassi prenen part i encara tindran l'oportunitat de tornar a conduir un F1 a Monza i Montmeló. 

També aprofitem per fer-vos saber que hi ha hagut alguns rumors que situen al Jame a Lotus Renault o a Force India. Pel que fa a aquests rumors, de moment només sabem del cert que el Jaume ha mantingut converses (a més de l'oferta de Lotus de final de la temporada 2011) amb Lotus Renault i que també s'ha especulat que hi poden haver diversos canvis de pilots que afavoririen l'entrada del Jaume a l'escuderia Force India. Seguirem atents a les possibles notícies al respecte i us informarem com sempre a través del nostre Facebook.

Just after the European GP that took place in Valencia, Jaime Alguersuari takes his luggage and goes to Belgium where he will be on the second testing days with Pirelli.

The tests will take place at the track of Spa-Francorchamps during the last week of June and will help to keep developing the tyres that the italian brand will supply to the categories of F1, GP2 and GP3 for the 2013's Championship. The car used, as you already know, is the renault R30, a competitive car that Pirelli uses for the tests. 

After the tests of Jerez which took place at the end of March, those days of testing are the seconds where Jaime and Lucas Di Grassi take place and they still will have the chance of driving a F1 car at Monza and Montmeló.

We also take this opportunity to tell you about some rumours about Jaime's position on the gird for the next year. It's been said that Jaime could be in advanced conversations with Lotus Renault and also could be a  possible driver for Force India. By the time we just know that Jaime has been talking with Lotus Renault (appart from last year's conversations at the Brasilian GP) and some changes of drivers could take Jaime to Force India. We'll keep on alert and we'll tell you everything as always through our Facebook.

An amazing past, a great present and a promising future

Jaime Alguersuari, catalan driver aged 22, has already participated in 46 Formula 1 Grand Prix. Though this year is out from the F1 gird, he is still linked with the F1 thanks to his rolas as test driver for Pirelli and as a technical commentartor for the BBC. Even though, as Jaime has already said several times, next season we'll see Jaime on the gird again but we still don't know with which team it will be.

ONE YEAR OUT FROM THE GIRD

"Definitely the best moment was my first good result at F1, when i did the seventh place last year. The best result the team had done in years. The worst moment was when I lost my friend and mate, Raniero, my physio. It was very tough."

Un passat increïble, un gran present i un futur prometedor

Jaume Alguersuari, pilot català de 22 anys, compta amb l'experiència de 46 Grans Premis de Formula 1. Actualment, està fora de la graella del 2012, però segueix vinculat a la F1 gràcies a la seva tasca com a pilot provador de Pirelli i com a comentarista per a la BBC. Tot i això com ja ha dit el Jaume en diverses ocasions, la temporada vinent podrem tornar a veure el Jaume en la graella del 2013, tot i que encara no sabem en quin cotxe el veurem pujat.

Un F1 es com qualsevol altre monoplaça, més gran ,i el que més impacta és la frenada i l'acceleració, i tenir a 10 mecànics al voltant del teu cotxe..."

"En el GP de Xina i en el GP de Corea de 2010 podíem haver estat cinquens... A Corea, vam fallar en l'estratègia, vam perdre 20 segons el en 'pit stop'. Era una carrera en mullat i amb safety car."

"Estarem en la graella de la F1 el 2013. Tot arribarà, i estic segur que quan torni, serà el millor Jaume que haguem vist mai."

Després d'estar fora de la graella durant les primeres cinc cites del mundial de F1 d'enguany, Jaume Alguersuari ja ha anunciat que la pròxima temporada pilotarà un dels cotxes de la graella del 2013.

En les declaracions fetes al diari La Vanguardia, el pilot català va confirmar la seva participació al mundial del 2013 després de la seva absència en el mundial de l'actual temporada. També va tornar a repetir que està passant en un gran moment de la seva vida, i que s'està preparant per tornar a la F1 la pròxima temporada. 
Tanmateix, el Jaume es va mostrar molt satisfet d'haver signat contracte com a pilot provador de Pirelli, fet que creu que és molt beneficiós per a ell, ja que a més a més de poder rodar amb els neumàtics de la temporada 2013, s'ha pogut centrar només en un aspecte del cotxe, fet que, diu, li serveix de molt. 

After being away from the gird at the first five races of the 2012's F1 Championship, Jaime Alguersuari has already announced that nezt season he will be on the 2013's F1 gird.
In his statements to the newspaper "La Vanguardia", the Catalan driver confirmed his participation to the 2013's championship, after being away from this season edition. He also repeated that he is in a great moment of his life and that he is getting ready to come back to F1 next season.
Nevertheless, Jaime was very satisfied with his contract with Pirelli as a test driver for the Italian tyre supplyer; he thinks it is a very advantageous experience, as he can test with the next season's tyres and furthermore,  as he said, he has been able to focus on one only aspect of the car, the tyres, which is probably one of the most important parts in a F1 car.

Jaime Alguersuari has driven a F1 car again. The Catalan driver has been driving the Renault R30 that the italian trade Pirelli uses to develop the tyres that they will supply to the categories of Formula 1 and GP3 for the 2013's season. 

Jaime, who hadn't driven a F1 car since the Brasilian GP of the last season, has been driving on the asphalt in Jerez this week, where he has felt the sensations of driving a F1 car again. But these won't be the only tests of the season for Pirelli, there will be more tests at Mugello, Montmeló and at Spa-Francorchamps. 

This weekend, Jaime will attend to the Spanish GP, which will take place at Circuit de Catalunya, as a commentator for BBC Radio.
