El Jaume torna al Desafio Internacional das Estrelas // Jaime Comes back to the Desafio Internacional das Estrelas

Com ja va fer l'any passat, Jaume Alguersuari assistirà al Desafio Internacional das Estrelas, una prova benèfica de Karting organitzada per Felipe Massa. Es disputarà aquest cap de setmana a la localitat de Florinapolis, Brasil. L'esdeveniment tindrà el mateix format de l'any passat i es disputaran dues carreres de trenta minuts més una volta. El resultat final, serà la suma dels punts aconseguits en les dues proves. L'any passat, el Jaume va acabar la primera cursa en quarta posició; no obstant, en la segona carrera, el Jaume es trobava en la primera posició quan es va trobar amb problemes de degradació de les gomes, fet que el va relegar a la vuitena posició. La suma de punts de les dues curses, el va portar a ocupar la sisena posició al final de les dues carreres. En l’edició d’engany, el Jaume farà de DJ en la festa de clausura del diumenge.

Like the last year, Jaime Alguersuari will attend to the Desafio Internacional das Estrelas, a benefit Karting event organised by Felipe Massa. It will take place this weekend in Florinapolis, Brasil. The event will have the same format as the last year and there will take place two races of thirty minutes plus one lap. The final result will be taken from joining the point achieved in the two races. The last year, Jaime finished the first race in the fourth position; even though, in the second race, when he was in the first position, he had some problems with the tyre wear and it took him to the eighth position. The total points scored in both races gave him a sixth position at the end of the event. In this year’s edition, Jaime will be he DJ at the closing party on Sunday.

Un futur més que esperançador // A hopeful future

Tot i no haver pogut acabar la temporada per davant de Sauber, el Jaume ha aconseguit els tres objectius que Red Bull i Toro Rosso li van demanar al principi de la temporada: millorar la posició del mundial del 2010 (19a, i aquest any 14a), superar els punts aconseguits el 2010 (5 en el 2010 i 26 en el 2011) i superar el seu company d'equip, Sebastian Buemi. Està clar que ha aconseguit superar aquests objectius àmpliament, fet que fa pensar, juntament amb les paraules del Jaume que ha dit que ell té molt clar on serà el 2012, que continuarà en l'escuderia de Faenza. També m'agradaria aprofitar per felicitar al Jaume per la gran temporada que ha signat, fet que ens omple d'orgull a tots els que et seguim. Ara, a descansar i omplir-se de motivació per una nova temporada amb grans expectatives on es poden aconseguir grans resultats.

Though not being able to finish the season ahead of Sauber, Jaime has achieved the three objectives that red Bull and Toro Rosso wanted him to get at the beginning of the season: improve the position of the last season (29th position in 2010 and 14th in 2011), get more points than 2010 (5 in 2010 and 26 in 2011) and be better than his team colleague, Sebastien Buemi. Clearly he has achieved all these objectives by far, what suggests that, along with the lasts words of Jamie who says he knows where he will be in 2012, he will be in the Faenza’s team in the next year. I'd also like to congratulate Jaime for the excellent season he has done, what makes us feel proud of him. Now, let's rest and get plenty of motivation for a new season with great expectations where there can arrive great results. 

Una gran temporada, amb final agredolç // A great season ended with a bittersweet

L'últim Gran Premi de la segona temporada que ha completat Jaume Alguersuari a la Fórmula 1 ha acabat amb un final que els aficionats una mica optimistes no s'esperaven. Tot i haver acabat en la onzena posició del Gran Premi del Brasil i no haver pogut avançar a Sauber en la classificació de constructors (fet que significa que Toro Rosso es queda a la 8a posició del campionat de constructors) i no haver pogut aconseguir soperar a Kamuy Kobayashi en al mundial de pilots, el Jaume ha firmat una gran temporada. Tot i que els primers resultats no van arribar fins al Gran Premi de València, on el Jaume va entendre el funcionament dels Pirelli, a partir d'allà, han arribat grans resultats i el Jaume ha aconseguit sumar un total de 26 punts que l'han portat a la 14a posició del mundial, onze punts més que Sebastian Buemi, que s'ha quedat amb la 15a posició de la classificació de pilots. Això i la joventut del Jaume, amb només 21 anys (dos menys que el seu company d'equip), fa pensar en relació als rumors comentats en l'article anterior, que el Jaume hauria de ser el pilot de Toro Rosso que hagi de continuar en l'escuderia de Faenza de cara la temporada vinent.

Però el record amb el que ens hem de quedar d'aquesta temporada del Jaume, és amb el que ell ha fet una temporada realment excepcional i que, si segueix a la Fórmula 1, pot arribar molt amunt.

The last grand Prix of the second season in the formula 1 of Jaime Alguersuari has finished with a bittersweet for the optimistic followers of Jaime. Though he's finished at the 11th position in the grand Prix of Brasil and Toro Rosso hasn't been able to overtake Sauber at the constructors’ championship (what means that Toro Rosso remains in the 8th position) and he hasn't managed to overtake Kamuy Kobayashi at the driver's championship, Jaime has signed a great season. Although the firsts results didn't arrive until the Grand Prix of Valencia, where Jaime started to understand more and more how the Pirelli's tyres work. Since there, the good results started to arrive and now, at the end of the championship, Jaime has 26 points which have taken him to the 14th position in the driver’s championship, 11 points more than Sebastien Buemi, who has finished at the 15th position. All this and Jaime's 21 years (two less than Buemi), suggests that in relation to the rumours commented in the last article, Jaime would have to be the driver who would have to remain in the Italian team the next season.

But, what we have to think is that Jaime has done an extraordinary season and if he remains in Formula 1, he can reach very high.

Un gran premi més transcendent que mai // A Grand Prix more transcendent than ever

L'últim gran premi de la temporada i en contra de tots els que diuen que no te cap mena d'importancia pel fet que els Campionats ja s'hagin decidit a favor de Sebastian Vettel i RBR Renault, encara hi ha equips com Toro Rosso i pilots com Jaume Alguersuari que no tenen ni la classificació ni el seu futur decidit. L'escuderia Italiana està només un punt per darrere de Sauber-Ferrari i el Jaume, dos punts per darrere de Kamuy Kobayashi. Això fa preveure un cap de setmana molt interessant. A més a més, hi ha rumors que diuen que o el Jaume o el Sebastian no tindran un seient a l'escuderia, fet que converteix aquest Gran Premi en l'ultima possiblitat per demostrar quin dels dos s'ha de quedar. Tot i així, sobre el paper, el Jaume és el que més opcions té de seguir en lòrbita de Toro Rosso ja que ha fet una excel·lent temporada i ha firmat millors resultats que el seu copany d'equip. Ara, el Jaume ja no és aquell pilot novell sense quilòmetres sobre un Formula 1, ara te molts més quilòmetres a l'esquena i compta amb molta maduresa.


The last Grand Prix of the season has arrived and though what many people think it hasn't any kind of interest,   as the Championships have already been decided in favor of Sebastian Vettel and RBR Renault, there are teams and drivers like Toro Rosso and Jaime Alguersuari who still hasn't their rank and future secured. the Italian team is only one point behind Sauber-Ferrari and Jaime, two points behind Kamuy Kobayashi. This points to a very interesting weekend. Furethermore, there are some rumours which say that or Jaime or Buemi won't have a seat in the team for the next year, what makes this Grand Prix an incredible chance to show which of the drivers has to remain in the team. Even though Jaime is the driver with more possivilities to remain in Toro Rosso's orbit as he has done an excelent season and has managed to get better results than his team companion. Now, Jaime isn't a driver who hasn't got experience and only few kilometers on a Formula One, now he has made many kilometers and he is much more mature.

The INDOOR KARTING ALL STARS GP, cancellated

La primera edició de l’INDOOR KARTING ALL STARS GP que acollia Barcelona el pròxim 18 de desembre al Palau Sant Jordi, ha estat cancel·lada. En aquest espectacle del món del motor hi havia d’assistir cinc campions del món: Jaume Alguersuari, Sébastien Buemi, Carles Checa, Jérôme d’Ambrosio, Paul di Resta, Vitatnonio Liuzzi, Jorge Lorenzo, Marc Màrquez, Oriol Servià Dani Sordo i Adrian Sutil. Els motius de la seva posposició han estat la pluja caiguda fins els moments i la que es preveu que caigui en els pròxims dies. També hi ha influït la limitació de temps per poder construir el traçat de 5000 m² en menys de 24 hores. De totes maneres, l’any que ve, tal com estava previst es farà la segona edició d’aquest esdeveniment que promet ser molt emocionant i una gran festa del motor. La data, ja està escollida i es farà el 16 de desembre del 2012.

Els espectadors que havien adquirit la seva localitat, rebran un abonament pel mateix mitjà en el qual havien efectuat el pagament. 

The first edition of the INDOOR KARTING ALL STARS GP that hosted Barcelona the next 18th of December at the “Palau Sant Jordi”, has been cancelled. In this show, of the motor world, there had to attend five world champion: Jaume Alguersuari, Sébastien Buemi, Carles Checa, Jérôme d’Ambrosio, Paul di Resta, Vitatnonio Liuzzi, Jorge Lorenzo, Marc Màrquez, Oriol Servià Dani Sordo i Adrian Sutil. The reasons of its postponement have been the rain that has fallen until those days and the one which is expected for the next ones. Also, the short time to build the track of 5000 m² in minus than 24 hours has influenced on its cancellation. Anyway, next year the event will be done again and it is expected to be a great edition and a great show of the motor world. The date is the 16 th of December 2012.

Spectators who had already acquired their tickets, will receive a credit by the same medium they had made the payment.   

Els caps d'equip, elogien al Jaume // The team manegers praise Jaime

En un reportatge de la prèvia de TV3, els caps d'equip de diferent escuderies com Ferrari, Mercedes, i McLaren es desfeien en elogis cap al Jaume.

Stefano Domenicali (Ferrari): "Ha fet bones carreres i ha set la clau per al desenvolupament de Toro Rosso. Només ha d'agafar més experiència i tenir paciència, però té un gran potencial."

Martin Whitmarsh (McLaren): "La seva feina és molt bona, amb carreres molt completes. Encara ha d'aprendre algunes coses, però és normal. Ja no és un debutant qüestionat per molts, ara és un pilot amb una credibilitat total."

Ross Brawn (Mercedes): "M'ha impressionat bastant i mereix sense discussió un lloc en la Fórmula 1. Tot i que és difícil jutjar un pilot que només ha estat en una escuderia. Fins i tot, ens les últimes curses ens ha avançat en la última volta."

Amb aquestes declaracions, queda bastant clar que el Jaume és un gran pilot i amb molt de futur.

In a report of the Catalan TV which follows Formula 1 (TV3), the team managers from different teams such as Ferrarri, Mercedes and McLaren, praised Jaime Alguersuari.

Stefano Domenicali (Ferrari): "He's done good races and he's been the key for the development of Toro Rosso. He just has to get a little bit of experience and be patient, but he's a great potential."

Martin Whitmarsh (McLaren): "his work is great, with very complete races. He still has to learn something but that's normal. Now, he isn't a questioned rookie, now he is a driver with a total credibility."

Ross Brawn (Mercedes): "He's impressed me so much and he deserves without discussion a place in Formula 1. Even though it is difficult to judge a driver who has only been at one team. Even in our lasts races he has overtaken us in the last lap".

With these statements, it is quite clear that Jaime is a great driver and he's a great future. 

Les cinc raons per creure en un possible futur Campó del Món // The five reasons to believe in a possible future World Championship

Segurament, haureu sentit moltes coses sobre si Alguersuari és prou bon pilot per estar a la Fórmula 1 i arribar a ser, un dia, Campió del Món de la màxima categoria de l'automobilisme. Doncs pels que creiem amb ell i també pels que no, aquí teniu cinc raons que encara ens faran confiar amb més força en ell:

1.     Jaume Alguersuari tan sols té 21 anys, sent el pilot més jove de la graella i també el més jove en participar en un Gran Premi amb només 19 anys, de manera que està en constant aprenentatge des de la primera cursa.

2.      L'escuderia de la qual forma part, Toro Rosso, és una escuderia que podríem dir que només té tres anys, ja que fins al 2008, el cotxe era pràcticament idèntic al de Red Bull, cosa que va fer que l'escuderia de Faenza hagués de muntar un cotxe nou per al 2009. Això significa que està en una millora constant, de manera que cada temporada el Jaume disposarà d'un cotxe millor ja que cada any l'equip parteix d'un cotxe millor.

3.      Com ja tots sabeu, el Jaume està vinculat al programa de joves pilots de Red Bull, lloc del qual ha sortit Sebastian Vettel, que amb només 24 anys, s'ha convertit en el vi campió més jove de la història. El fet que el Jaume estigui vinculat a aquest programa, fa que existeixi la possibilitat de poder substituir a Mark Webber en l'escuderia austríaca en un futur força proper.

4.      Toro Rosso, segons el mateix Alguersuari en declaracions a la revista Total Race, és una empresa de futur, que està aconseguint nous patrocinadors i que lluita per cada vegada està mes amunt en el mundial d constructors. 

5.      Si fem un cop d'ull als resultats del Jaume, es pot veure que, està en constant progressió, i que si disposa d'un cotxe competitiu, pot estar ben amunt.

You've provably heard from many people, that Alguersuari isn't good enpugh driver to be a Formula 1 driver and to become one day the World Champion f the highest class of auto racing. For those who think he won't and for the ones who believe with him, here you have five reasons to think he will be much stronger:

1. Jaime Alguersuari is only 21, so he is the youngest driver on the gird and when he took part in the Grand Prix for the first time, he became the youngest driver who participated in a F1 race, with only 19 years old, so he is constantly learning since the first day.
2. His team, toro Rosso, is a team which we could say that it has been in Formula One only for three years, as until 2008 the car was almost identical to red Bull's, what made that the team from Faenza had to build a completly new car for 2009. that means the team can improove the car a little bit more than others each season.

3. As we all know, Jaime is related with Red Bull's program for young drivers, the same place where Sebastien vettel is linked, and he has became the youngest driver to win two World Champion tittles with only 24 years old. The factthat  Jaime is associated with this program means that it is possible to replace Mark Webber inthe team from Austria in a near future.

4. According to Jaime's statements in the magasine of Total Race, toro Rosso, will be an excellent company in the future. Furthermore, they have more and more sponsors and they fight for a better position in the constructor's classification.

5. If we take a look to Jaime's results it is obvious that he is in constant progression, and if he had a good car, he could foght with the best drivers and teams.

Un GP d'Abu Dhabi que no ens podem perdre. // A GP of Abu Dhabi that we can't miss.

La pròxima edició del Gran Premi d'Abu Dhabi es presenta molt interessant. Mentre que els títols del Campionat del Món ja s'han decidit, encara hi ha equips com Toro Rosso, que està empatat amb Sauber amb 41 punts en la classificació de constructors. Mentrestant, Jaume Alguersuari intentarà ajudar a l'equip juntament amb Sebastian Buemi per aconseguir superar a Sauber i  Kamui Kobayashi, que té només un punt més que el pilot català en la classificació de pilots.

The next edition of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix comes very interesting. While the World Championship titles have already been decided, there are still teams like Toro Rosso, which is tied with Sauber with 41 pionts in the constructors' classification. Meanwhile, Jaime Alguersuari will try to help the team with Sebastien Buemi to get ahead of Sauber and Kamui Kobayashi, who has only one point more than the Catalan driver in the drivers' classification.

El Jaume torna a puntuar! // Jaime scores again!

Un cap de setmana en el qual Toro Rosso té un cotxe competitiu, s'està convertint en sinònim de punts. Jaume Alguersuari va aconseguir una meritòria 8a posició en la primera edició del Gran Premi de la Índia, que dóna quatre punts molt valuosos per l'equip, que cada vegada té més a prop l'objectiu de superar a Sauber en la classificació de constructors, cosa que significaria un ingrés de 10 millons d'euros per l'escuderia de Faenza. De cara les dues últimes cites del mundial, l'equip ja no aportarà més novetats i es concentrarà en aconseguir més punts.
A weekend where Toro Rosso has a competitive car, it's becoming synonymous of getting points. Jaime Alguersuari got a meritorious 8th position in the first edition of the Indian Grand Prix, which provides four valuable points for the team, that has every time more close the objective of overtaking Sauber at the constructors classification, what would mean an income of 10 milion euros for the team from Faenza. For the upcoming World Cup events, the team won't take any other news in the car and they will concentrate on getting more points.
