Jaume Alguersuari, després d'acabar en sisena posició en la sessió de lliures del Desafio Internacional das Estrelas i haver entrat en la Top Qualifying (la lluita per la pole reservada pels millors de cada grup), ha aconseguit acabar en segona posició en la prova inaugural de l'esdeveniment organitzat per el pilot de Ferrari, Felipe Massa. La prova ha començat amb gairebé trenta minuts de retard per culpa de la pluja, però una vegada ha començat, el Jaume ha avançat, primer a Nelsinho Piquet i una volta més tard a Antonio Pizzonia. Llavors s'ha escapat i ha atrapat a Felipe Massa que ocupava la segona posició. Un cop l'ha avançat, el Jaume ha pogut tornar a portar el ritme que havia portat fins el moment, però el pilot de l'escuderia Italiana, se li ha enganxat a la seva estela fins al final de la prova. Jules Bianchi ha guanyat la prova, de manera que aconsegueix 25 punts i es situa cinc punts per davant del Jaume que intentarà avançar-lo en la classificació general tornant a a sumar un bon grapat de punts en la segona carrera que es diputarà avui a les 14:00 h. Felipe Massa, es troba amb quatre punts menys del Jaume que en té 20.
Jaime Alguersuari, after finishing in the sixth position at the free practise of the Desafio Internacional Das Estrelas and having entered in the Top Qualifying (the fight for the pole position between the bests drivers of each group), has managed to finish in the second position in the first race of the event organised by the Ferrari's driver, Felipe Massa. The race has started about thirty minutes later because of the rain, but once it started, Jaime has overtaken, first to Nelsinho Piquet and one lap later to Antonio Pizzonia. Then he has escaped and has reached to Felipe Massa that was in the second position. Once he has overtaken him, Jaime has been able to bring back the rhythm that he had taken until he reached to Felipe, but the driver from the Italian team, has stuck to his trail to the end of the proof. Jules Bianchi has won the race, so he gets 25 points and he is five points ahead Jaime who will try to advance him in the general classification by scoring again more points in the second race which will take place today at 14:00 h. Felipe Massa, has four points than Jaime who has 20 points.
